SimBin Development Team is proud to announce the signing of an exclusive 3 year multi-platform deal with FIA to create simulations based on the FIA GT racing series and properties. The license also covers a historical option, extending back to the inception of the series.

SBDT AB provides tailored multimedia solutions for racing teams, vehicle and component manufacturers and corporate sponsors. SBDT AB specialises in vehicle and component modelling, custom racing simulators, 3D circuit modelling, sound design and music soundtracks.

Unfortunately they have closed their excellent forum as a result of this and it's unclear if they will ever release another (free) product to the simracing community. We would like to thank SBDT for providing these excellent mods and updates.

GT Racing 2002 Pit Radio Package Patch [22-06-2003 | JZ | Comments (0) ]
Finally you can race with the assistance of a dedicated pit-radio man. He'll point out what all the other drivers are up to on the track and he isn't afraid to let you have it when you stuff up. This package replaces the F1 pit-radio voice with completely new recordings including all the drivers and teams for the GT and N-GT series. Aaron, our Voice-over specialist, put a huge amount of work into getting this done and I'm sure you'll agree that it adds enormously to the GT Racing 2002 experience. Remember to set the Speech Content to 'High' and turn up the Speech Volume in the Audio Options.

Since today I am no more part of SimBin Development Team (SBDT). I want to say thanks to all my old team mates for all the work they have spent making GTR2002 a masterpiece. I wish a great good luck to SBDT for the future adventures. I want to declare, too, that the use of my GTR 2002 meshes, sounds, wheels etc. (and created for past or future mods)is not allowed for commercial purposes without my written consent. Today, the SBDT released six new add on cars: the CarSport Viper, Grifone Viper, Eurotech Marcos, Reiter Diablo from 2001, Lister Storm from 1999, and the Larousse Diablo.
