In spring 2006 netKar PRO was released after several delays and years of waiting. Like some Italian supercars, it looked and felt brilliant with beautiful graphics and hitherto unprecedented high fidelity physics. Add to that a new depth to the racing simulation genre including having to operate switches in the interactive cockpit, removing visor tear-offs to clear visibility, change tires when flat spotted, allowing the mechanics time to effect repairs in the full realism mode and taking care of many more features, it was like a new dawn for racing simulation enthusiasts.

As the release of netKar PRO 1.0.3 comes closer, the netKar PRO team decided to release the official netKar PRO 1.0.3 Manual now already.

netKar PRO received a lot of feedback on the first installment of the simulation. A couple of things: no multiplayer demo, lack of support and hardly any documentation.

Improvement is happening. The support has been improved, nKP v1.0.3 will contain a multiplayer demo and now we present you the official manual for netKar PRO v1.0.3. The manual contains 144 pages covering every little detail in netKar PRO.

Already now you can start reading through the manual and learn everything you need to know about version 1.0.3 of netKar PRO. This way you will be completely prepared when 1.0.3 is out!

From now one there is one single place where you can find the fastest times driven on the whole world in the brilliant netKar PRO driving simulation.

Jaap Wagenvoort has developed the netKar PRO Rank. This system collects laptimes driven on all online netKar PRO servers. All data is put into the Rank site, which provides a very detailed track record overview and a ranking system.

This is your chance to finally really compare yourself with the best and fastest drivers in the netKar PRO community. See where you are losing time using the detailed analysis tools, try to climb up the ranking and make it into the top 25, top 10, the top 5 or maybe get the world Track Record!

Besides the fastest laptimes, the system offers a wide array of other nice features: an online chat system, a list of online servers (also showing who is online!), full history (showing the progress) and a feed which allows you to be informed of new track records.

After the arrival of Silverstone, Monaco and Montreal, the fourth add-on track for the netKar PRO simulation is released. This time, a whole different track. I am proud to announce the release of Spa-Francorchamps for netKar PRO!

Spa-Francorchamps has always been a special track for racefans all over the world. Its history, its thrilling corners (who doesn't know the breathtakingly steep and dangerous Eau Rouge?) and its great atmosphere contribute to that. Now this track comes to your netKar PRO simulation.

A long track. Almost 7 kilometers of accurately modeled tarmac which recreates the 2001 layout of the track which includes the Busstop in its original and most exciting configuration. Slipstream full throttle trough Blanchiment and risk an overtaking move into the Busstop.

A lap with the Formula Renault will keep you busy for almost 2 minutes and 30 seconds. And that is with just one car. After you learned all 7 kilometers and developed a setup, you can go online and compare yourself with other netKar PRO drivers to see who is the fastest. Are you competitive enough?

A lot of real drivers claim that they think that Spa-Franchorchamps is the most beautiful track of the world. Now you can decide that for yourself, too. Get the track, get the simulation if you don't have it yet and drive!

It is time for a news flash from the netKar PRO crew. Some time has passed since our latest news message, but we have been very busy. The netKar PRO crew has worked hard on the development of a very interesting project which involves all netKar PRO customers.

The Marangoni Group, operating in various sectors of the tyre industry, was in search of a driving simulator which could realistically reproduce the most important hillclimb race in Italy: the "Trento-Bondone".

Logically, it is of extreme importance for the Marangoni Group to simulate this hillclimb race in the most authentic way. What is better than the full support of the winner of the 2006 Italian Speed Hillclimbing Championship? Simone Faggioli won the 2006 championship driving an Osella PA-21 prototype and helped the netKar PRO crew to accurately simulate this car in the netKar PRO engine.

It has been an amazing challenge for the netKar PRO crew to develop a realistic simulation of this very special type of racing. Hillclimb simulation has been never been done before in this way and we are very excited to bring it in netKar PRO. With the support of Faggioli Corse, Marangoni Tyre and Osella it has been possible to reproduce the thrilling combination of the 18 km long Trento-Bondone race course and the fabulous Osella PA-21 prototype car. It has been packed in a dedicated driving simulator, specifically designed and reserved for Marangoni promotional purposes (powered by the netKar PRO technology).

However, the great thing is that the netKar PRO crew made sure that the new content will also be made available to all netKar PRO customers. The hillclimb racing challenge will be included in a future official release of netKar PRO. More details will come soon.

Kunos Simulazioni has released the latest update to netKar PRO. The work has been primarily dedicated to improving the netcode. We wish to thanks Jaap Wagenwoort and his racing team for their support, and all our customers for their patience.

We are currently focussing on some netcode issues in order to improve the multiplayer experience of netKar PRO. Thanks to a new beta testing team, specialising in online racing, testing of the software is taking place under various conditions, to allow us to recognise the areas where the software needs to be improved. The beta testing of the next patch has been underway for some time now, so our aim is to release it within few weeks. The package will also include a new installation program and the documentation needed to use netKar PRO at its best. More updates will follow, our aim is to improve not only the multiplayer experience but the single player mode too, with new content and an official track editor, that will be released for free soon, this will allow you to create your own customized tracks.
