Is sound still crap in NKPro? I would like to give it another go. If the sound is better then i will.

For me that was a major let down.

What do you call 'crap sound'?

I use the CrossFade (simpler) sound engine in netKar PRO and it sounds like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YY-eiE1LxSk

Besides, there's the Scazzato sound engine which really creates sound instead of using samples and actually sounds better (but uses a bit more FPS).

Thanks Jaap. That sounds a lot better from when I first tried the demo.
I am downloading NKpro now.
Last time I liked the feel of the cars but the sound was an issue.
Will the demo vers give me improved sounds?

BTW 36euro seems a bit on the expensive side? Exchange rate is not good here.

The sound is just like that (in the video). If you get bad sound in the demo, please download the latest drivers for your sound card. A lot of drivers had to do that in order to get the sound as it should be.

Compared to other sims 36 euro isn't anything high. rFactor was 41 euro and LFS is in the same region (just distributed over multiple releases).


If you like a hard-core driving simulator (forced cockpit view, no unrealistic visual aids or driving aids like steering help etc), netKar PRO is what you're going to love.
