I guess it deserves its own topic?
I've tested it with my G25 shifter, but it should work with others such as the one from act labs or your homemade type

Did get mine last week. And the H shifter plugin is great, it takes group N to a new level! The only thing with the plugin that i dont like is that much is that when i want to drive with H patter gearbox i have to put the files into Plugin folder (like usual), but when I dont want to drive with it i have to quit the game and put the files out of the folder.
 When gearbox is in neutral, its neutral ingame, its a great plugin.

That would be a great thing for the plugin, but not nessesary.

Yes.. Just put it in neutral and it is.
But go to controller options (gears) in game and turn auto clutch off. (Do the same with Gear protection.)
It prevents the car from stalling, but is to no good with a manual gear box.
Well that's up to you.
In The begining I tried to save the car from stalling by stepping on the clutch and the brake at the same time, this meant I had to move both feat at once.
Its much faster just to flip the stick into neutral and keep your legs where they allready are.
Ohh and set the wheel up with low Force feedback, you don't want to work the wheel with one hand and 100% FF strength, well not for long, especialy not if you have a large turning degree on the wheel.
I got my G25 FF set to 50% and 360 degree turning.
Inside RBR I got the FF set to something like 30-50%
Works great for me.
A fun thing to do with clutch is.
At the start of the race, before the countdown ends with GO.
Quickly engage and release the clutch, I can do 3 bunny jumps forward before getting a False start.
Are we getting a BIG RBR christmas present this year Eddy, or will it be finsihed in the new year.

When i change gear i lift the foot of the throttle quickly and put in next gear, exactly like we do with real rally cars with dog box gearbox, like most of the group n cars. I dont have much force feedback either, the only thing i really wanted to get like a real car is the strenght of a powesteering, i think you will come closer to it if you allows some autocenter wheel, about 20 - 25%.
We really need to discuss how to setup the G25 to get as close to real thats posseble.

Not much left of this year so that's AWESOME news.
I come to BHMS every day in the hope of seeing it released.
Anyway, Respect.. Its done when its done.
There's a movie theatre in town for rent for BIG events like this.
But is cost something like 500� for an afternoon.
If I could gather 100 RBR fans it would be cheaper than paying to watch a movie.
Well there's a good chance i'll be playing RBR in 2007 on a BIG screen in a showroom with some of the best audio equipment in the world.
I'll put it on Film for you guys to see when it happens.
Sorry for going a "little" bit of topic.

I have a problem with v2 of this shifter plugin, when I start up RBR I get a black screen for 1 second, then just crashes back to the desktop. I thought it was something to do with RSRBR mod, but after looking into it last night I found out that it was infact this shifter plugin that was the problem. The problem is the same without RSRBR installed too.
I found a link to download v1 and that works without any problems.

I noticed that other people are having the problem too over at ToCA EDIT. Has this file been updated to fix that problem?
