I am planning on installing RBR again and would like to know, what do I have to do to get the best possible graphics out of it? Edit ini file or what.
Thanks in advance.

Open RBR Startup, on options. Max out all your graphics options(high) and check everything. Though I found that checking or unchecking 'triple buffering' seem to do nothing, so I keep it unchecked.
Then go to your RBR intall directory. You'll find RichardBurnsRally.ini or if I'm wrong, something similar.. Open it in any text editor.
You'll find at the bottom of the text x res = 1280 yres = 1024. Change it to the highest setting like 1600 x 1200 that is supported by your monitor@85hz.
Finally on your Catalyst or nvidia Forceware control panel. Set Antialiasing to 'off' or 'application controlled, do the same for Anisotropic Filtering(otherwise, you'll get black lines on the road). Set mipmapping to best quality: For nvidia, don't change mipmapping, it is set to best quality by default, probably for catalyst too. You'll know if your mipmapping is not set to best quality if car textures seem distorted.
If you are using nvidia. Increase digital vibrance in color setup. I found RBR textures a bit dull, increasing digital vibrance, also increases color saturation.

I'm looking for a "ultimate" RBR setup too.
Havn't played it for nearly a year now and my RBR folder is messed up by to many mods. So I'm going to re'install RBR with all the eye candy and best updates I can find and have it ready for the G25 wheel, should be delivered in a few weeks time.
Guybo made a full package with new cars, sounds and plenty more.
Seams to be just what i'm looking for but I haven't installed it yet since there's not much info about this mod witch is a bit strange considering all the work being done.
I looked inside the folders and it seams that Guybo has used a miks of cars from diffrent seasons. Fabia05 - Integrale - Sub03 - GrN - etc
Its all good am sure but i'd rather have all cars from one season only.
Well i'm going to install it later and check it out.
Anyway. Download suggestions are most welcome.

Install RSRBR from Bicman, its well worth, because youll get all the released cars from many forums and all new graphics to all stages, as well as all the tracks in the 3 kinds of pavement, gravel; tarmac and snow.
And also install Skin manager, that permit to change the car skins in a matter of 1 or 2 seconds. |

Hear, hear! Yeah, RSRBR3 + RSRBRLive is a great combo. My mod pack is more for playing a variety of cars online with the Czech plugin site (though the Peugeot 206 S1600 car has yet to be added to the site's database.) Don't be a fraid to install RBR to one directory and clone it to another directory and keep one for my mod and one for RSRBR3 or the default RBR. It eats lots of disk space, but what's a 160GB hdd for (for me anyway)
