Hello to all RbR community !
I come to present you RbRTools on www.rbrtools.euro.st .
This program includes 3 parts.
1) RbR Launcher :
Presentation .
Entire list of cars managed by the program there .
In bonus, Fog Mod by Marcus ( Example )
The program manage automatically Physics/3D/weather (fog) for ~20 cars.
Select options/car/stage and just race.
Cannot do easier for users.
2) RbR Hotlaps :
Do the best time on each stage.
Program upload automatically your time.
Anticheat.
2 classifications : With / Without Setup ( Example )
G�n�ral rank ( Example )
Only for original cars.
If a lot of people come and play Hotlaps, I could open Hotlaps for Addon Cars.
But in a first time, too much work for only 20 drivers.
3) RbR Multiplayer :
I have done some presentations few months ago. But it is more for French people due to problem time shift.
1 serveur (organizer setups race configuration with HTML page) and infinite players (they connect and get race configuration).
Rank like that (saved file) in real time.
Rally / simple stages.
For French people but open for all.
We can race with all cars and fog mod.
I hope that explanations were clear and RbRTools will interest you.
More explanations in manual in FR/US.

Not a problem
It is in the manual.
VB6FR.dll
As i wrote you can go there to have the file.
I don't want to do some package of installation.
There you can put the program where you want.
If the installation of RBR si good (no copy-past of entire directory RBR), the program will find it automatically.

Can that car manager work with my skins, or it's only from the list? A bit confusing without download, but can you explain if the tool is only limited to some skins (would be wierd) or for all cars?

You can change skins for each cars as you want.
An exemple :
If you choose the 205 T16 with my prog in the list, the directory used is "RBRTools_205t16".
Skins are not check. It is like in the "real" game.
So you can change all dds in RBRTools_205t16 / TEXTURES / *.dds .
Some cars have 3D + Skin like 307 / Octavia ...
But others have only skin. No 3D model available like Fabia ...
And to finish cars who have nothing (no skin / no 3D) like Metro 6r4 ...
If some of you want to create skin / 3D for each cars, I can include it
I see 3D Punto / Focus. It will be great
I will complete the list with directory used for each cars.

First, I have tested it and I think it's awesome This is what we needed desperately a lot I want to ask you for two things:
- allow us to customize RBR Launcher the way we want ; that means adding our own cars, modifying existing and so on... Another thing (which is intrinsic to what I said) is a simple way to have as many setups we want... Look at attached picture - just two more dirs in car directory. Physics - everyone knows what does it mean - could include michelin or pirelli tyre files in case (older tyre models for older cars). And : setups. Setups names could be whatever-we-want (no 0slot1 thing) - we choose the setup in RBR Launcher and the program loads it and puts it as "5slot0_ setupname " for instance, what allows RBR to load it properly... After saving modded setup into slot2 let's say, RBR Launcher could move it into car\setups dir automatically, adding it to existing setups. Explaining it may look a bit complicated, but applying it into program is absolutely easy The fog mod is awesome !!! Thanks once again, god bless you!

... ability to load driver's skin and face along with particular livery is a great idea too Skin makers could produce whole car/crew sets

So to answear your questions
I cannot allow you to add your own cars.
RBRTools is used for 3 things (Hotlaps / Multiplayer / Launcher).
So for Hotlaps / Multiplayer, I have to check, if you race with good car. (Like an Anticheat).
But I will include all new cars like Punto / Focus ...
If anyone want to have a car not included in rbrtools, just tell me.
I will see if I add it.
Now setups.
Good Idea
In rbrtools, I can add a list of setups when you choose a car.
For example and if i have understood.
You choose Octavia.
Program lists all setups files in Cars\RBRTools_Octavia\Setups\*.lsp .
You choose a setup name tarmacOctavia .
And my program will copy this file into SavedGames.
It will rename it in XslotX_ tarmacOctavia .
For the last part, I prefer moving manally setup modified into car\setups.
I think it will be easier to program and easier to manage.
If program do it automatically, you will not be able to delete (if setup isn't good), rename, and problem with overwritting.
I will try to include this idea.

Does it work with RBRdll?
Sounds good, but I love RBRdll's option to fast forward and slow down replays.

This is perfect !!! I am very happy with it One thing - maybe you could allow some way to play replays straight out of Launcher - choose car - choose replay (because it goes into the game automatically, skipping the main menu, isnt' it?). Thanks once again, I was dreaming about such program for months

... driver suits ... Maybe we could make it like this : all these things are in SGS\TEXTURES dir. Have a look at attached picture. Oh, and an option to disable Richard or Robert (like in my mod ( also look here )) That would make car's businness finished ... Last thing - an option to leave car's physics and 3dmodel but be able to customize skins (like having 34 skins to choose for Subaru 03 - this is what would be great - Skin Selector - my idea - second picture) MTFBWY

RBRTools launchs RBR with RichardBurnsRally.exe (Normal) and RichardBurnsRally_NoSSE.exe (No SSE).
So rename your rbrdll.exe in RichardBurnsRally.exe or RichardBurnsRally_NoSSE.exe and I think it will work.
Replay
I don't know how to do that.
As I said RBRTools is based on release of rbrnet source code.
This part of the program is quite mysterious for me
Disable Richard or Robert
Why not. 4 files to include. I can try.
Skin Selector
I am not fan of having X skins for a car.
When I am tired of a skin, I change it manually.
Too hard to include and don't think it add something interesting in RBRTools.

Sorry, but this tool is crap...
After eneterig in test area, RBR crashes, and never running again.
So I made clean reinstall, and it works again. I supose, something is wrong with file overwriting when prompted.
I will never run your mod aigain! Sorry!

If something doesn't work for you, you are not obliged to say that it is crap
You can say only : "I have a problem".
This tool can have bug.
We try, with my beta tester to solve all of them.
Sometimes not easy but I think that rbrtools works good with this version.
Have you read the manual
Have you install new cars pack
What is your configuration
Pach 1.02
What do you mean by test area
Where RBR crashes When it loads Just before you start
Really too much little informations to solve your problem.
No matter, if you don't want to use it, you are not obliged
