After 15 months of development the Group C Sportscar Challenge mod for Nascar Heat has been released.
The mod features some of the most awesome sportscars ever: GT/GroupC sportscar prototypes from the turbo era in the second half of the 80's. These cars were unbelievably fast groundeffect cars, able to go extremly high cornering speeds.
- The mod features 9 GTP/Group C car types that all have been run for at least 2 years in the second half on the 80's
- A total of 29 car paints from IMSA and Group C World Championship races in 1988 comes with the mod. Additional 3rd party car paints from earlier years are available on the download page
- All car types have individual physics, engine sounds and cockpits
- Much more
Templates for painting for all car makes are available for download as well.
Additionally, Group C 2005 online racing series is starting up in 3 weeks' time. You can find all information about the league and its rules on the official site and sign up for the series by filling in a simple form. If you do not own a copy of NASCAR Heat, visit official site to find out how you can run the mod and participate in the league without having the full game.
