GTi Racing Review at Playfuls [10-10-2006 | JZ | Comments (0) ]
Well, the fact that GTI Racing received its blessing from VW, translates into a selection of models that invites us to a short history lesson (although the old models should be recognized immediately), which of course, limits to driving. We have at our disposal all five Golf generations, including 15 models, as well as prototypes and other two classics (the original Beetle and its new variant, together with the T1 "Samba" van).

GTi Racing Previw at Gamespot [09-02-2006 | JZ | Comments (0) ]
Okay, let's get this out of the way right now: Fahrvergngen. If you remember Volkswagen's old marketing slogan (which translates roughly to "driving pleasure"), then it'll seem appropriate once you learn about GTI Racing, the upcoming racing game that features Volkswagen cars and nothing but Volkswagen cars. That's right, this is an all-VW racing game, covering more than five generations of Golf models but also including classic cars such as the Beetle.

GTi Racing Game Guide [12-01-2006 | JZ | Comments (12) ]
1976: Volkswagen creates the worlds first compact sports car, the Golf GTI. In that year a Golf capable of travelling at 182 km/h creates uproar in the establishment. This compact young maverick looms large in the rear-view mirrors of the fast sports cars and heavy limousines on the motorways, and the rest is history. Today, 93.2 percent of all Europeans are familiar with the GTI. Golf GTI drivers dont have to justify themselves; theyre driving a statement, one of 1.5 million originals. The GTI phenomenon can now be experienced in virtual form. Players of the PC game centred around this cult object can experience 15 different models in the 5 series, plus bonus cars like the New Beetle, the Samba and even concept cars! The enhanced XPR engine delivers stunning photorealistic graphics, true-to-life physics, and fantastic weather effects. And of course, the cars can all be individually tuned. In addition to Career Mode, the asphalt awaits in 5 other racing modes for single and (up to 8) multiple players.
Features:
- Original Volkswagen Licence
- 15 original and detailed Golf models (GTI models from 1976 to 2004, bonus cars including the New Beetle)
- Hundreds of tuning and customising options
- Career mode, racing, time trials, Follow the Leader, -Mile Duel, and more
- Photorealistic graphics, dynamic physics, and detailed damage model
