Grand Prix Racing Manager Video [17-07-2007 | JZ | Comments (0) ]
Note: This title was previously known as F1 Championship Manager and has been renamed to Grand Prix Racing Manager.
Further development of the GPRM race engine is evident in our low resolution downloadable GPRM race video.
The screen layout is work in progress and our Graphics team are in the middle of a make-over for the race screen but the safety car procedure has finally been implemented successfully and we thought we would capture the first half of an Australian GP
The race action captured shows an early safety car period and the accompanying change of race strategy the user (me-Simke) chose in an attempt to win the race running the McLaren team. You will see the first 25 laps of the race and I am disappointed to announce that one of my cars retired and the other dropped to a disappointing 5th place following a later fuel rig problem that cost my only driver a possible race win.
The Video is from alpha version 4.3.1 and as I am sure those hawk-eyed GPRM followers out there will pick up on several minor bugs.
Please note this version uses a 2003 Formula 1 data set and the actual format and game base data set is not yet determined. Whilst it is possible to run any race series data set within GPRM (including self generated user sets) we are certain the F1 set used for this video will not be used in the final game release.

F1CM has been in development for many years now at the hands of a group of motor sport enthusiasts who aim to create the best motor sport manager simulation to date. The fact that the development team (AzTech Games) are such enthusiasts means that the game contains previously unseen levels of realism, so very lacking in other such games...
