| For it's time this was the best, and though it is showing it's age in the graphics department it still has the most extreme damage model of any racing game I've ever played. For anyone wishing to play on XP or Windows 2000 you must run it in compatibility mode. It does not work in Windows NT 4.0 though. I highly recommend downloading the 1.23 beta patch as it fixes the sound problems on some systems among other things. Also be sure to get the 3D spoke wheels and some of the great looking third party cars. :-) |
