We here at Team Blackhole Motorsports need your help. As you all know, the team puts in a great deal of effort to provide you with the latest news and downloads from the sim racing world. However, all of this hardwork comes at a steep cost. Until now we have been able to maintain ourselves but recent site popularity is making this more and more difficult. Last month alone we transferred over 1.3TBs (thats 1,300GBs) of data. The cost to provide that much bandwidth is expensive and we need your help to keep us going. We are kindly asking our patrons to use the PayPal donate button to make donations. The PayPal donation is a secure and easy way to send your donations directly to Team Blackhole Motorsports. Oh God this game is crap. Whether you launch from idle or redline you still get the same animation. Not to mention its a bit too EXACT about the timing lights. Forget reaction times, you have to be perfect with the green. Ugh, nitrous boost? Please someone shoot me.

LMAO I won't even bother downloading it...

Well don't expect the final version to be any better. This game is so bad that I couldn't begin to explain how horrible it is. I got a review copy in the mail yesterday and my son wouldn't even play it. If a child went into an arcade and played this game, he'd ask for his quarter back. Calling this an Arcade game would be a heck of a compliment because its not even close to an arcade. In a normal situation I would try very hard to find something good to say about this game. You would surely think that the game would have at least one or two points that would at least make this game fun. Not all games have to be a totally immersive simulation. Once in a while its just fun to play an arcade game. This wasn't fun at all. I had to actually force myself to keep exploring within the game in an attempt to find SOMETHING good. After an hour, the only thing I could come up with was that the CD had some nice artwork on it. As tough as the gaming world is today, I can't believe that ANY company that's in the PC market today would even attempt to release a game of this poor quality. I feel sorry for the people that work for this company. If this is the best work they can turn out, I have a feeling they might all be looking for new jobs very soon. I hate to just slam a game from start to finish but I couldn't find one good thing to say about it at all. I felt insulted and cheated that I had to endure an hour of pure torture to review this game. If I'd had to pay for it, I'd have really been upset.

Contrary to the comments I have read, I was both able to get the demo to work and I was able to consistantly win! Granted this game (at least the demo) is not up to snuff when compared to Papy racing sims, but it is the only one available for this genre! And yes, I did enjoy myself. And at only $28 at Walmart, it is a pretty good value-much better than racing Hondas and the like! Not the MOST realistic, but adicting. I was also pleasently surprised that my steeering wheel and pedals DID work because of problems I had with earlier value soft titles. Now I find myself anxiously awaiting thier new NHRA drag racing game. I would give this game/sim a 7.5 out of 10 stars for execution, (sound could be better, launches have the same animation no matter what) but a solid 9 on the fun meter. Maybe they'll put out an improved version in the future?

^^^ Please tell me you were hallucinating... because I am... theres no way in hell you actually spent $28 dollars on that piece of trash.

No, I am "NOT HALLUCINATING" ! And "No!" I did not spend $28 for this-YET! I wrote a review of the DEMO- NOT the actual game itself. Once I get the game-then I will re-review it for everybody, And yes, I am hoping that the ACTUAL GAME is better because (as I reviewed earlier) this demo does leave much to be desired-But I will stand by my earlier review and say that I had a good time with it! No Tuners just good ole AMERICAN muscle to play with!

Ah, well that makes a bit more sense now. Sadly I still believe you gave it a bit much more credit than it deserved, this game is horrible. While I do enjoy the American Muscle portion of it, that alone does not warrant putting up with the South Park style graphics, the Cruisin' USA style physics, and the absolutely played out 2f2f "nitro boost". 0_o Suxorz, just leave it be! =)

this game takes me back... a game made by califonia dreams called street rod... Now it isn't quite on the same level but its still fun. and yes they designers didn't do their homework, they have no concept of bracket racing and don't know much about cars... Removing the converter makes the car immobile? huh? But until another street rod is made that isn't an online version like motor city this game is at the top of my list for a fun little racing game that you can tinker with your car to your hearts content. So the die hard camp will find serious flaws but if you look past those building your own car is amusing and getting on the cover of Hot Rod is a childhood dream.
