We here at Team Blackhole Motorsports need your help. As you all know, the team puts in a great deal of effort to provide you with the latest news and downloads from the sim racing world. However, all of this hardwork comes at a steep cost. Until now we have been able to maintain ourselves but recent site popularity is making this more and more difficult. Last month alone we transferred over 1.3TBs (thats 1,300GBs) of data. The cost to provide that much bandwidth is expensive and we need your help to keep us going. We are kindly asking our patrons to use the PayPal donate button to make donations. The PayPal donation is a secure and easy way to send your donations directly to Team Blackhole Motorsports. Please help us by contributing a donation so we can continue to provide you with the latest news and downloads from the sim world.

So what are your findings? I never had a problem with the demo or a preview version so I don't really notice any difference? Also, framerate was never a problem even though I have a crappy Athlon 1800 and GeForce T1 4200. I play with max details at 1024x768.

I hadn't any problem with the demo on my p-III 800, 512MB, GeFofce2 GTS 64MB, Windows XP pro and Logitech Wingman Formula Force wheel at 800x600 32 bit medium detail (strange). I felt some vibration on wheel. Hmm.. I think this was ff effect. I'm gonna try this patch also.

Okay.. after playing it a bunch of times with the patch, here's my comments incase any dev's are reading: The Force Feedback for a wheel, could really be exaggerated a lot more during regular driving. I can feel it working sometimes, and it seems to be doing the right things. BUT, turning the wheel during normal driving is exactly the same on all types of road surfaces at all times. It seems like sim people like to FEEL the road. Tarmac tight, ice loose, etc. It should be totally based on the grip levels of the wheels... Rally Trophy did this week, so does F12002 I think. The car still acts a little cartoony, I'm not quite sure why. It does odd things on replays.. like drift the opposite way compared to momentum. Very hard to describe... but if there is programming to make the car do things other than what is being input to make driving easier, I suggest it be removed if the game is supposed to be dubbed as a "simulation". Stages are VERY well done, so are all the graphics effects and car models. It -could- be the holy grail of rally sim games, as the stages are challenging. But FF and car reactions seem like they need improvement. Also, is damage set to "low" in the demo or something? I expect to hit a tree (a very big driving error) and have the car to be very busted up. At least have it a variable setting to satisfy everyone. I still can't get split axis to work right, and the flip brake/gas seems to only work some of the time? I'm using a Thrustmaster Ferrari FF. I also can't turn on shadows, but I think it's because my video card is old (radeon 7500). But at least some "Basic" shadows would help. Mike

para. 2 should read "Rally Trophy did this WELL, so does F12002 I think."

Have I got a demo of a different game? Everybody ses that its has GREAT graphics and quite poor physics. My experience is that it has quite lame graps (exept on the carmodel) and awsome physics. For the first time you feel like you are stearing a real car that has a 900degree turn. Maby its just my MOMO.. Well it seems to be a great game.

Improved physics actually make playing this demo fun. Graphics are poor - no car reflections basic water effects textures are bland. The sound hasn't changed for me. Still sounds like a wasp.

This patch has seemed to fix all the problems I was having with the demo..So I'm happy! In my opinion the graphics are very acceptable (even though my graphics card isn't good enough to support reflections), and the physics are fun! Especially the power sliding, which is very controllable (kinda like Motorhead).
