| The game also crashes to the desktop on me. The videos play but it will not load the menus. I have a Radeon 8500 128MB. But it's a demo so I can't complain, just hope they release a fix soon. |

| I get a "videocard not supported" message and the game never loads up. I have an ATI Radeon 7500 64MB DDR card with all the latest drivers and all that. I did watch the intro video through, and found it really stupid. Cars flying down cliffs and such. |

| Compared to Nascar Racing 2003 this game is so arcade like. I crashed into a tree at 100mph and Colin McRae is still alive?? Also the game is very bugged, as i can't get my steering wheel to work 100%. |

| There has been a lot of complaining regarding the demo, so here is a list of fixes for the final version: 1. Track lighting/shadows support fixed. 2. Track light reflections support fixed in 32 bit display mode. 3. Better frame rate independence for objects. 4. Low bit rate movies for slower machines. 5. Sound effects updated and volume balancing. 6. Steering wheel support updated to directly drive the car wheel angle. 7. Force feedback support updated to include car direction spring force feedback. Some of the crash bugs at the start of the game tends to be the codec's install failing and can be fixed by installing media 9. As a test the user should be able to play the movies from the hard drive, if they only get sound support under windows media then its the codec's issues. This should clear up some of the problems people have been experiencing. I have to emphasize that this demo is between 1-2 months old hence there were still a few probs back then. |

| Best looking Tracks & Cars but still the drive is 3years old, no real grip from the tyres, the car steers from the middle. Easy to see at low speeds as you glide over dry tarmac at 5mph with no power down ? or park by a cerb & the back wheel will push off the cerb ? that dont happen in real life does it CodeMasters ?. Maybe CM should get the Flashpoint lads to help the rally boys, ow & Race driver was the same old toca drive to. I think CMR1 & Toca1 were better then everyone since from CM. |

| If your game crashes when loading, then try this : I can not guarantee this will work, but it did for me : After installation, press right mouse button on the cmr3 shortcut on desktop and select properties. Make sure to enter "STATIC BUFFERS" behind the target name ! Then run the game ! It should be like this : "D:\Spill\Colin McRae Rally 3\Rally_3PC.exe" STATICBUFFERS It worked well for me, so i hope it works for you too. ;) |
