After accidently stumbling over a website boasting that they had mods for Viper I got pretty curious, 'coz I honestly thought that this great old gem of a driving sim was dead. Noone ever mentions it anymore at the places I look for news and I was sure that the lack of modding possibilities had killed it off long ago. Many of us hardcore simracers get misty eyed when thinking back on good ol' Viper Racing, as that was the game where a lot of us got the first real taste of a great physics engine at work in a driving sim.... I drove it all the time finishing championship after championship back in them days, but in the end other games came and took over (GPL, NASCAR, and all the others) and Viper was left to collect dust...
