Just found this game gathering dust in a carton, I almost forgot all about it.
Finally something to play other than WoW. So I installed it, started it up.. made sure it would detect my steering wheel, which is a Logitech Wingman Formula Force GP. Fairly old, but it works perfectly. The game found it without problems.
Then I noticed this brake bar in the controller options.. it was full at all times, except when I hit the throttle. "Maybe a bug", I thought. I downloaded and installed a patch (1.1.0.0), and restarted my computer, but it seem to've been in vain, as the brake bar in the options remained full until I hit the throttle. "Maybe a display error?" I thought, and decided to try the Mini out on some random track. But it does indeed brake 100% whenever I release the throttle. I exit the game and hit the control panel, to access my wheel's options. I calibrated it, made sure combined axles were disabled (enabling it would make me unable to drive :0) and started up the game again. But no luck. So I did a google search, found this here site.. tried to register. Said I already have an account (I was like lolwat) and apparently.. I've been geeking around here during my RBR-days, which was years and years ago. Hot. So here I am. Asking you lot for assistance. What could possibly be causing these problems? And how do I fix it? Any help appreciated!
Regards,
B
