update notice - rd3fix was updated March 3, 2009 to include the Honda 2006 bonus.
rd3fix is a program to update the 4 digit unlocking code in a savefile. This code for your game may change if you upgrade or replace your system and re-install Toca Race Driver 3. Also included is a default save (rd3fix.sav) 100% complete with all bonus codes unlocked. The save was updated March 3, 2009 to include the Honda 2006 bonus.
To run rd3fix with the default save: Backup your existing savedata\Profile001.sav. Unzip RD3FIX.EXE and RD3FIX.SAV into a temp folder. You need both RD3FIX.EXE and RD3FIX.SAV to run RD3FIX. Run RD3FIX, and enter your 4 digit bonus number. RD3FIX.EXE reads in RD3FIX.SAV and writes out Profile001.sav. The created Profile001.sav will have your bonus number. Copy this new Profile001.sav to RD3's savedata folder.
To run rd3fix with your old savefile, copy Profile001.sav onto rd3fix.sav, overwriting it. The original rd3fix.sav is still in the zip file so you don't need to back it up. Run RD3FIX, and enter your 4 digit bonus number. RD3FIX.EXE reads in RD3FIX.SAV and writes out Profile001.sav. The created Profile001.sav will have your bonus number. Copy this new Profile001.sav to RD3's savedata folder.
