Noticed that for Race07/Evo the french track has been converted. In the first version the AA/AF lines on the road were in this conversion to. However the new version has fixed these. I was wondering if given they were there in the conversion and subsequently fixed if its possible to fix in the same way for RBR
Here it where the Evo conversion is:-

Nice find! Hopefully Piddy or anyone of the other track makers can inform about this, since I don't have a clue...
Even though the scenery doesn't look realistic, those backgrounds show how RBR could look with highres pictures and decent sky textures. That's one of the points RBR lacks the most!

Yep it sure looks great, with the background pictures, and cloud system.. But your Images is much more interesting Fireburns
About the Lines in the road in RBR, it's for what i remember something to do with the AA, I remove them by setting The Nvidia Control panels graphic setting to be controlled by the program and they are off.. and it still looks amazing so, nothing lost.
But ok I use:
XRes = 1680
YRes = 1050
Dream Extreme
Flaggie..
Back to install GTR-EVO must try that conversion .. thanks for the link m8.

Hi
For what I know (very few things indeed), setting AA to be "controlled by the program" in The Nvidia Control panel don't enables AA, it's why the lines are off. So I suppose that you Flagmo have an high quality gfx due to your very high-end PC and high screen resolution.
So on my personal experience I think that with Nvidia based gfx cards the best thing to do is to enable AA using nHancer (thanks to BWX for this tip, if I remember well); this also act as a workaround for some issues that someone could encounter with DX10 cards+drivers:

Yup, you just have to remember to turn anisotropic filtering OFF too, (in the control panel and Nhancer) because that alone will cause the lines even with AA off, or the solution of using SSAA (supper sampling anti-aliasing via Nhancer, etc)..
Normal AA will always make lines, it's the SSAA that does the trick. Thankfully RBR runs smoothly using SSAA even at high resolutions with a moderately fast system. SSAA looks sweet even at lower resolutions though.
