I recently noticed that some cars have a strip across the top of the windshield that is quite a dark "tint" as compared to others. If someone could point me in the direction of the filename where this texture resides it would be much appreciated. All I want to do is brighten up the ones that are a little too dark for my liking.
I've opened all the internal_xxx.dds files and even tried changing the shade on the windscreen of the external_tranparent.dds(till I realized thats why its called EXTERNAL) but cant seem to pinpoint where this strip is located.
I can number the textures and go by that but its more of a ballbuster then asking here and trying my luck.

Internal/external transparent files usually. Remember to edit alpha channel along with the texture, otherwise it might not work...

I finally pulled myself away from thrashing RSRBR09 and decided to attempt to lighten up the tints that were almost pitch black. The C4 and the Subaru were really the only ones causing me headaches. The file xxx_internal_transparent was the file I was after.
And to make things nice and easy, all I had to do was darken the shade of the tint-strip in the Alpha channel, to make it more transparent ingame. I'm much happier with this shade(since I can see through it) and can now enjoy the awesome scenery as I tear it up
