I am planning on buying a VISTA . My peoblem is that I don't know whether to get a 32 or 64. I heard that 64 does not work well with some of the newer games.
What advice could you give me?
I see that there steering wheel pedal systems that work with Vista but it does not say 32 or 64. Will they work with either?
Thank you! |

If I were you is decided to continue working with the XP, because tha last is more relailable than Vista. Vista have lot of bug which isnt fixed.
If you want that your XP looks like Vista you can download lot of addons to redesign your OS.
And one more thing. Dont spend your many on this full of holes OS. You can download it on any trackers.

If you are buying a new pc, get 64 bit. Newer games are going to need to be able to run more RAM. Plus, the 64 bit version runs code more efficiently. If it's for an older pc, stick with XP for now. Vista still needs some work.

I have a newer high end gaming pc. I am running a dual boot with xp pro 64 and Vista ultimate. I use a Logitech Momo wheel and it works fine with both OS's. This wheel was designed for XP and older OS's. But if you go to the Logitech site you can download the Vista drivers for it and it works fine. A lot of hardware, software and games have been doing that lately. Some of my older stuff like Nascar Racing 2003 and Nascar Heat refuse to work with Vista. But so far those are the only two things I can't get to work correctly. As for 32 or 64 bit? I've run Call Of Duty 4 on high end 32 bit systems before and had no complaints. When I run it on my new 64 bit system.........freakin awesome. If you can't decide which OS to go with, get trial versions and test it out. I like both for different reasons so I run both. You can even get a program called VMWare. It allows you to run multiple OS's at the same time. I can literally run XP and Vista in the same window now. Hope this info helps.
My system specs:
AMD Phenom 9850 Quadcore 2.5 Ghz processor
8 Gb of Ram
Dual ATI Radeon 4850 512 MB graphics cards
KDS 26 inch widescreen HD monitor
Vista Ultimate and XP PRo 64 operating systems

I have read many posts in which people have said they have troubles getting nr2003 to work on Vista, but I haven't had any problems and I've reinstalled it several different occasions. Each time I didn't hit any snags.

I had no problems running nr2003 on Vista.........until I updated it. For some reason it crashes every time I try to run it after I patch it in Vista. That's why it's nice to do a dual boot or VMware.
