Hello, today I want to show you my fantasy track I am making for RBR. It still early in the project, and I plan to add several details and have very good ideas how to achieve this. I like more to work on fantasy track, because there is no limit, you just follow your inspiration. For the people who not believe in BTB, I can say you that BTB is the future of RBR. It's a lot more easier than max, faster to work with, and you can pack in all the details you want if you have the modelling skills to do so. Btw, I use new textures by ennisfargis, and they looks awesome in-game. I suggest all people who like RBR and trackbuilding to try & buy BTB. It's an awesome tool. I have a lot of fun creating my stage. Here is some screens for you to enjoy.
Thank you
Regards,
jay

I vote for Max, because it's easier to convert to standard RBR format, then, easier to be allowed in czech plugin.
Go on! It's going great!

Jay, can you import it and play with it?
I agree with you for the fantaisy track. It's a lot of work but less than a real track. Your work is already very nice, keep working please!

Thanks for your comments, it's very much appreciated.
Now, I'm trying more on developing my modelling skills than working actually on track. It seems that when you model for a period of time, your eyes is developping and focusing more on how the polygons can be seen. The main problem I've encounter when doing track is that, I was not having any conscience of a track template in my head that I could use generally over terrain. What have occured, is that I've end up having all sort of weird polygons screwd up everywhere that had too many vertices attached to them. Instead of seeing just a bunch of polygons, now I see them as 3 triangles per square, and try to do straight lines as much as possible. I have some more polys to fix on current track and work have already started to correct them. Fortunately, there is not much left to do and will get over it very soon. It's just a mather of compromise between good looking and performance.

I've already manage to export track in the following form :
BTB export to max
max export to wallaby
wallaby convert to rbr
It works great so far, and I've manage to add marshalls and some animated fences to track using wallaby. The stage will be allowed in czech plugin if people want to.
Regards,
jay

Jay, that's very, very nice!
To me it looks like some New Zealand stage... Very fast and flowing and lots of green.

That's very good news that you can export from BTB to max. Which flle format do you use for that purpose ?
Will you allow rallyesim to put your track in RSRBR if it's available without BTB plugin (it's a condition for us because RSRBR cannot manage the RX plugin sadly) ?

Nice work! New tracks are always welcome. Could you tell me, what should be that sandy section? Is it a road or just a ditch? I've tried to make a track myself, but i gave up. No time and no skills.
