Hello there,
I have finally reached the Endurance race and as I did not have 2 hours to spend in one go saved the game after the first pit stop 20 laps in. When I started the race using the "saved game" icon it went back to the pits but the car just sat there, not responding to any input.
I then thought ok, I will "Restart" the race only to find my car again just sat there as ever other car burnt off into the sun, the only way I could continue was to start the Endurance series again from the beginning??
Can anyone shed any light on this Save Game problem?? or am I doing something wrong??
Cheers

Do you have a Logitech controller? These are prone to stop working after a track has loaded sometimes in GTL. The usual cure is to go to options, then controllers then force feedback and uncheck and recheck the reverse effects box. You can do this from the garage but I don't know if you can go to options from a save game. |

Thanks for replying.
Yes I have a old Logitech Wingman Formula Force wheel which has been excellent and yes I did have that "hit the reverse button" issue you mentioned which is an odd one and never did get to the bottom of it.
As to saving and then carrying on in a game it does not allow you to go to the reverse are whilst in a race and so I just sit there, again a odd one, guess I will have to find a couple of hours to spare...
But do you know how to allow the AI to drive My car either within the race or swop over at a pit-stop?? is this possible??
Again thanks for replying |
