VOR�s GPL division is getting ready for Season 15 with the 1969 mod cars and we're looking for drivers to join us. We�re a North America based league with members from Sweden, Britain, India and Australia. Our ability levels run from the very fast (Dr Tooth/Urban Alsenmyr and Sandeep Banerjee) to the not so fast (about +10 to +20 in 67 GPLRank). All drivers are welcome to race with us.
We race on Fridays at 8:30 PM, Central US time and alternate Points Races and Fun Races each week.
Our rules are:
- Race distance is 50% GP (about 60 minutes long) with Intermediate damage.
- Resets are allowed for any reason, but a short stop in the pits is the cost of each reset done outside of the pits.
- We�ve found that usually 90% of all online crashes occur in the first part of the first lap, so we try to promote safe driving in the first couple of corners by declaring an �Orange Zone� where penalties are given out for unsafe passes resulting in crashes.
Our next season starts on June 22 with three fun races on the Fridays between now and then. The upcoming proposed schedule includes all Grand Prix races from the 1969 season, including non-championship events:
