Race2Play is excited to announce that Simbin Studios has provided our members the ability to "borrow" and run full retail versions of RACE: The WTCC Game
Simbin, in conjunction with Race2Play, offers Standard and Premium members the opportunity to try the full retail software at no cost and no risk. Just like checking out a book from the local library, Race2Play members may "check out" a copy of RACE to use for a short period (one to two weeks, depending on demand). Members may then participate in our regularly scheduled World Touring Car series and various fun runs featuring RACE.
Use the time to give the simulation a good workout. Run on the servers and participate in as many races as you like. If you find you are enjoy the close racing as much as the other members have, consider picking up a copy of the reasonably priced RACE and joining the series full-time.

| Wasn't this released months ago? Guess that $40 price did hurt it when it was released. And it's always nice (-not-) to have everything encrypted inside the game, so you can't make new skins, add new tracks, etc... If they had done the "loan" thing in the begginning, that would be a sign of trying to -improve- the sales. Now, they are trying to "makeup" for lost sales by giving you a trial to try and get you to buy it. Issues in it still not resolved so I will not be buying it. Can you please tell me what room Johnny X is in? No, because you can't chat in the lobby like you can in other sims. It is impossible to find friends without trying all the rooms. BAD lobby system. The lobby room just shows the tracks, and nothing else. Not who is online, not who is in which room, etc. The old system was better. Initial turnoffs were; inital price, not enough content, locked content, Options are hard to get through (setups, etc just feels awkward). lobby system is worst out there, of the sims. -This is also the 1st Simbin title ever released that I did not buy, for many reasons. One big one was $40 for little new content (& Locked content at that!). I still haven't seen an update for GTR2 for wipers. We know it works, why not support your previous product running the exact same gfx engine?? |
