I know a few modders here have made new splash screens combined with renamed cars to match. There are a miriad of cars & splashes now and I have a select few cars in the slots I want them and wanted to make my own splashes, thats not the issue .. my main question is :

How do you edit the games files to rename the cars so they show correctly and not show the default out-of-box slot names?

Its been done and ive sniffed many threads but couldn't find a direct one detailing a "how-to" to do this. So if its a hex-edit what tool do I need and what file(s) do I look at to make the edit?

Any help from modders would be great (or a link to an existing thread detailing this that I may have missed).

Sorry for a wasted thread, how I missed the quick tips & tricks section is beyond me, I deserve a large forum search slap in the face Confused Confused
