I was just wondering.. is there was any way to modify a file somewhere to change the number of laps in the races?

What about the AI strength? I HATE the way the difficulty levels in the game are preset with predetermined levels of damage and AI strength.

I like SIMBIN's stuff (I own all their games so far), but the way they force you to play GTL the way THEY think you should is bullshit. If I want full realistic damage with rookie level AI, then that should be MY choice! GTL is supposed to be a simulation, is it not? Last time I checked, the laws of physics in real life (in regards to damage) do not change depending on the level of competition you choose to participate in.

I sure hope SIMBIN doesn't take this lame-ass approach in their next title, or any future simulations, for that matter. Mad

In quick races you can choose how many laps you want when you set up the race. In the challenges you can't alter the number of laps.

You can boost AI strength from its difficulty setting but you can't reduce it.

Welcome to sim racing which isn't real life Smile For example, you get to choose how fast the other drivers go.

This approach is not unique to GT Legends. The grand daddy sim of them all - Grand Prix Legends also links damage to AI difficulty level.

You are way behind the times. Simbin has released 2 titles since GTL. GTR2 came out 7 months ago and RACE 5 months ago. They still link damage level and AI strength to difficulty level, but there are only 3 difficulty levels and a fair bit of adjustment in damage and AI strength.
