Befor installing a mod for NSR, in order for that mod to work, you must have the Trackpack 2.0. You can get it at www.teamcgw.com in the downloads section. The TP 2.0 is an easy download and allows the mods to be played on your computer. NSR also has to be updated to version 1.0.2.9 Download the patch into your NSR folder and run from there. IT WILL NOT INSTALL FROM ANY OTHER PLACE ON YOUR COMPUTER.
I'v noticed quite a bit of repeating questions being asked. All the same ones, My patch wont install. My mod wont work. Just trying to help keep the forums a little less cluttered! Good Luck and have fun!!! Aeropush

Unfortunately we could post it 5 billion times, and they would still come in, start up a new thread, and ask the same question. Nobody wants to take the time to search these days!

actually, although its repetitive and a timewaster, you can make the mods work fine without a trackpack. Just go into each Gdb file for each track and where it says:
2004, 2005, NEXTEL
just replace it with
2004, 2005, 2006, 2006CTS, Modifieds, Latemodel, SCC, NEXTEL, NNS, CTS, 2K5CTS, Aerowar, NR2005, Misc-Mod4, Misc-Mod5, IROC, IROC-CGW, Karts-CGW, ICS, 2003, CCWS, Whelen, Production, Mod1, Mod2, Mod3, Mod4, Mod5, Mod6, Mod7, Mod8
thats basically all the trackpack does. Its not a huge deal. I dont have any trackpacks and all of my mods work fine. |

yes, you can race online but Kooguy's way will give you mismatches online and most (if not all) race owners won't allow any GDB mismatches cause it's easy to cheat in them.
What the trackpack does is keep the original races the way they are and add a modified version of the same race so it can be accessed by all the mods in the game. The modified versions are the ones with all those lovely tidbits in them. The CGW folks (or whoever made version 2.0) did all the work, thus the only thing we'd have to do is download, install and play!
