hey!,

Im a lfs player, and tonight I decided to check out Rfactor. I downloaded the program off the rfactor homepage (688meg) and i am having problems installing it.

My current rig is an amd athlon 3000+
1024ram
Nvidia 6800gs super agp (512)
100 gig hdd (400meg left on c however more space obviously in other hdd's,

The error goes like this, I open the installer and it starts unpacking/loading setup.

It gets to exactly 28% and then displays an error - Cannot read write c:\mumbo jumbo here going to\temp\system.dll


Im now capped \=( and I would like to play =( but cannot \=(

Woe is me. Please help guys, Much appreciated.

I had a problem kinda like you seem to be having.im not sure if its the same or not.but i made a post on another site and some ppl helped me and git it working.ill leave the link to the post i made and you can go and try what i did and see if it works for you.

another possibility is that you don`t have Microsoft Net 2.0 installed ?!

None of the top applies to my problem, its during the instalation process in which the problem occures.

This time, however, the install process got to 45% before the error came up.

If you guys could as around that would be great, its unfortunatly this game does not have one single large forum, unlike lfsworld.net, thus i dont know where to look for help. And, to be honest, the idea of creating a user for every single forum just annoys me.
