A playable demo for Sprint Cars: Road to Knoxville is now online, allowing the chance to try out this recent dirt track racing simulation by Australian genre specialists Big Ant Studios (formerly Ratbag). This is a trial version that enables you to play for a generous full hour, but also includes all content of the full game that can be activated after purchasing a license key online.

Had the same problem once, when I could get it to run, couldnt get it to recognise my G25. Why is anybody going to pay for a game when the demo has so many bugs

I got it to run. The game was having conflicts with my MSFF wheel so I have to use my non FF wheel. The game is pretty bad, the only thing it manages to model right is that you can't run full throttle out of the corners and most of the way down the straights with sprints because the front wheels try to come off the ground. Thats the only thing I can find accurate on the whole thing. You can't get the modified to pull up on three wheels, much less have rear steer. The walls are also severly messed up. There is no such thing as scraping the wall, it either throws you off or turns you into it... Oh well, maybe one day we will have a dirt sim...

The 60 minute demo ran fine for me. it doesn't look or play any different than the last Sprint Cars game I played. It's all the same stuff all over again. Graphic detail is dated back to the Rally Masters era.

There isn't anything here that you haven't seen before, in this case a long time before. Wink
