I�d advise you to take a deep breathe before adventuring into the driving zone. As the developers try to provide us with an as realistic game as possible, they tend to allow you a lot of customizing options, yet the default settings are steep enough to be quite a challenge for you to control your car in a proper manner.

This game is awesome, I simply love it..
For me! Race is a awesome ride, just like with the Richard burns rally -
IT! really gets me exited, because this is created for men and woman that wants too feel the idea of driving in the real Championship, it's not a all happy Arcade game, this is driving simulation of the finished art.
And If you focus on how the Car behavior is, and take some practice rounds, then you will get into it, It's really not that difficult, and if you know about the differents setting options, Then that will give you some fun to, It works people and it's great..
Another fantastic thing about the game, is the Menu design, it's build too look like the real FIA WTCC Community Design..

It's a WTCC video Player with alot of races to watch in simi HQ, so then you just need to switch between Racing In The Race game and wathing the real life driving and then you are good.. 
I'm not driving in my personal life, i haven't got a driving license and a Car, but these games make me feel the edge of it, and I'm sure about that, because some times i shake, after a good speedy Race and because of the excitement it gives me. 
Thanks SimBin - And please buy the rights to make a Richard Burns Rally 2.
The community is huge and worksome and all behind it.
Looking forward too mod Race.. ( hopefully it's Mod-able )  DOH!!

ps..It's also a very rich detailed game, the cars are high poly and very detailed, the landscape are also very rich in detail, But i would love, that there were a level more,
I've bought a Monster PC that is only using about the 1/3 of the Power, to run Race, so I've got plenty of Power to have much more life in the overall game view, where is the heat haze, there should be much more dust and particles going on, and the overall track textures should be more dynamic it's still to repeatable, .. eye Candy and real life people, that's what it is.
We will see more of that in the PS3 games, because then the companys know how much Power, they have to work with, But HELLO!! we are alot of people with Monter pc's, that has alot of power.. Take the next step next time..Please ..
