| Today i heard from a gameshop here in Holland that there will be a new WRC-game for PS3!!! I corrected him by saying that Evolution studios are finishing 'Motorstorm' , but he said that SONY, not evolution studios, have signed a contract a lisence until 2008!!! He crearly stated that they made Motorstorm to see what they can do with PS3.....MMMM, is this true, well i don't know but i like the idea!!! Chears... |

Bad news... That means more years with blocked WRC license for PC rally games. 
But I'm curious to see if the game is more realistic on PS3 and a new developer team.

Evolution Studios will be creating the WRC games for the PS3, they have made an exclusive deal with SCEE (Sony Computer Entertainment's Europe) that they will only publish Sony platform games.
The contact that Sony signed was with ISC (International Sportsworld Communications) the governing body of the WRC for an exclusive official license for their games.
We propably wont be seeing any WRC titles until late 07', but I hope we get it sooner, it will be a long winter without a new wrc title this year...

Well, there wan't be a "WRC 6" since Evo has ended that series with WRC5.
It might show up a nother rally game later from Evo, but I find it hard to believe it will be for the PS2. If they make one it will be for the PS3 and I think that they would use a nother name for it since it would be for the new console...
You must try the PS3, it's great! I have been playing it a lot of hours and I'm still amazed by the graphics and I also like the wireless control. Haven't found any sign of delays when I use it.

Dear friends, its great we talk again about what we really like: the best rally game ever made! The question is : when will we get it?
I believe we will have it, not this year, unfortunatelly, but i think we will have it next year.
I think this year was not a good year to launch it, how many facturers were in competition? Ford, Citroen and Subaru..... the others are all privateers. I think this was one of the reasons we don´t have the game right now.
Let´s wait to see... i only hope that next WRC game dedicates only to WRC competition ( no rallycross modes or others ) but many and longer stages in each countries.
