Please post all the videos, maps, pics over here about Rally Finland.
So later when the track making tutorial is out, the work can start.
Thank you! |

Yeah, to be able to go to a stage is very important to get realistic stages....
Ethyl and me have started a hillclimb stage and a gravel rallysprint celebrated both 15 km away from my home... So with the videos and pics I can take, it will be a copy from the real one.

I can probably videotape stages, but before I would go and do that I'd have to know someone would actually do the stage for RBR

I don't think making a Rally finland set of tracks will be a question even- it is one of the most beloved of all WRC rallies. I have the feeling that all the most popular rallies will be done in RBR by the time it is all said and done. Once that tutorial comes out, the sluice gates will be open. |

Good thing is that rapidshare now let's us upload up to 300MB. I think huge files (up to 300MB) should be uploaded to rapidshare.de |

I don't know it for sure as I've never used it but.. could Virtual Spectator helps in making stages ?
If so, we would only need someone who has VS !!! It's not real at all.. but at least we coudl have a good idea about the stages..
Regards,
SchumiBCN .

Personally I don't think 100% accuracy is a realistic goal or necessary.
The game engine is very limited in how long and real you can make a track. If we get the big jump on Ouninpohja and the nasty corner with the name painted on the rock on the outside of the corner (is it Tommi?) and the other landmarks of the stages (as well as a million yumps) than this will be a great project. If everyone gets too mired in the details and tries to do too much (only to be frustrated when finding out this is not possible) than these stages will never be finished.
just a suggestion. |

It's "Toni" in stone. Toni loves Daniel, maybe in next year.
Track making is more than modeling. This is little offtopic, but is 3D max only modeler which is supported? How about modeling with Blender or some other? How about modeling with other than 3D max and converting mesh to max?

Ok so far as I heard is possible only modeler 3dsMax v 7.0 The Czech man which start with possibility to have new tracks in RBR has some kind of editor which is created on base of editor from Xpand rally. I saw it from distance Im sure that it is not like Kangaroo but its very good start and he is still working on it. So guys please wait!!! After tests I think he will explain lots of things and then RBR will became immortal.
