Strengthening forcefeedback in Xpand Rally!

I have a MS Force Feedback wheel and even with it set on full strength the tension in Xpand rally seems very light. I don't see anywhere in the options listing to change strenth of FF.
Is this a common problem or is there a way to fix this?
