According to Dictionary.com, ultimate is defined (in part more on that later) as representing or exhibiting the greatest possible development or sophistication, so when Codemasters assails the gaming public with an assertion that they have created the Ultimate Racing Simulator, they are making a heady claim indeed.

Spot on review. I bought this game last week thinking, come on, it can't be that bad . . . but once again I was burned by Codemasters. The physics are just plain horrible and there are no good cockpit views . . . this coming from a game that's supposed to be a sim. When will Codemasters learn?! You would think they would learn something from the last two titles? |

If you posted looking for sympathy, you'll get none. There have been far too many warnings about this company. You have yourself to blame! |

It's not a sim it's a game and good for light relief.

Nah, no sympathy, it was only $20. I'm just amazed at how Codemasters can't see that making a driving game with good physics is important. I realize they think that the hardcore sim market is too small, but in the end that's what keeps driving games alive, the advertising and free promotion by the sim community.
Anyway, enough said. Goodbye Toca. |
