i got fed up with how you cant turn off the steering help.

this patch will disable a few filters that helped you steer (speed sensitive steering rate, slow steering rate, slide correction)

I personally think its much more fun....well, at least you have to 'work' to get out of a slide.

just drop dinput8.dll file in your Evolution GT installation folder (only work with retail version!)

(ive tested it with logitech DFP @ 377 degrees)

If someone would be kind enough to try it and report back here...

dinput8.zip - 29.06 KB

First let me tell you that what you are doing to these relativly unknown games is an exceptional piece of work. I hope this wont be a useless reply. I tried out your patch. Unfortunately I am keyboard user and as far as I understand, this is for analog devices only? If so, is there some way for us, keyboarders, to have the same fix? I think there is also some throttle filter on, even with ABS and traction control off, I was wondering if that can be disabled too? Under all these driving aids, there is a decent simulation, keep up the good work Smile

Hey Racer_S
Thanks for this patch, but for me it seems to be lil bit too sensitive now. Is there any way how I could modify the .dll file myself?
