Very Happy Who wants to play with this. I always hated these ugly buggys. It's a stupid motorsport.

This doesn't look like its gonna be a serious sim going by the HUD and the very fact that most games with a 'career-ladder' theme generally end up being jack of all trades, master of none, but nonetheless, a sim of this sport is always welcome, but its too bad that dirt late models, sprints and midgets don't get that much attention in the sim community Sad cause people with their heads up their _____ like Zolus would really be surprised to find just how much fun it could be if done right.

i'd play this game! There's a local modified series that runs here in Maine that has lots of good racing! Even had a car fly up into the stands once. No one was seriously injured, thankfully. Sure, the cars may not go that fast, but it's all about the racing for me. Wink

The engine we're using for the game is an overhauled version of the Ratbag Difference engine, the one used in DTR, DTR2, WOO, etc. Essentially this is the fifth generation of the engine. A lot has been learned over the past seven years and this game is built on that process.

When you see the game in action there's definitely visual improvement. You'll also notice much deeper gameplay in the career mode than previous dirt racing games as well. For sim racing fans there are plenty of tuning options, the HUD elements can all be turned off and you can post your best times online to see how you match up against others. The PC version will have online multiplayer as well. We've got great wheel and surround sound support too.

We want to create a something that the fans of dirt racing will appreciate and casual race fans enjoy as well. The team at Big Ant has put together a tremendous game (OK so I'm biased!), with long ours and a lot of hard work over the past several months.

If you have any questions about the game don't hesitate to ask!

Best,

Peter

I'm glad to hear that some of the Ratbag stuff was rescued !

Is this game only for PS2 or might there be a PC version ?

Looks like yet another step backwards from the DTR series to me. I was really looking forward to something worth playing this time. Games like this make me not want to admit I race sprint cars........

Sad.....

Was looking for this thread but couldnt find so i started 1 lol.
https://bhms.racesimcentral.net/board/viewtopic.php?t=37188

So Peter all my questions are in there.

A commercial hint for you: Put NZ Stockcars in that game and you'll sell thousands of PS2 & Xbox versions here in New Zealand. Now take my advice on this as I'm a total Sprintcar n Midget Fan and think NZ Stockcars are backwards thinking, but if I wanted to sell your game in NZ by the thousands, I'd put in NZ Stockcars.

Heres a site with some NZ Stockcar action for ya'll https://nzstockcarcrazy.batcave.net/palmyteams06/pteams06p4.htm

Please answer our questions as i can see from 3 posts from diff people to you are all asking the same questions.

MODABLE

MORE MULTIPLAYER NUMBERS

IMPROVED INTERNET CODING

LESS LAG

Thanks,

KTWW_Rikstr
