I have been playing the demo a few nights. Took a while to get it all working the way I expect.
It looks fine graphically but not quite up there with say GTR or GTL. But good just the same. Physics, while different, are sort of like GT Legends. So that's fine.
But since I already have Richard Burns Rally, GT Legends and soon GTR, I will have all the racing I really need. Not to meantion I have not even tried Flat Out or rFactor.
So the only real attraction for me to LFS is the online RPG element of having tracked stats and some minor recognition and some community. Those are really cool features.
But in the DEMO I have been joining servers to try on line and of the 15 or so different games I connected to, I connected only to find som pack of loosers playing smashup derby or tag and talking smack to eachother.
Not fun.
Is the REAL online environment of LFS better if you own the full game?
Please describe!

Yes it is alot better. I've played online quite a bit and have yet to come across any real intentionnal wreckers and most racers are very friendly and are willing to help you out. All there is to say is that the online in the demo is not comparable to the full version.
