I decided to play scgt after not playing it for some time. I have done a complete uninstall, removed all files and then with the CD I installed the stock game. Then installed the patch on the disc and went to play the game as it said I could. I go to my start menu and it has the shortcut. I hit it and it come up with the start screen. I tell it to play in direct 3d and hit Play Sports Car. The screen goes black and it thinks for a minute and then it comes back with no error, no game no anything. Help what am I doing wrong. In the system information on the startup screen it readys system rating: Class 4 CPU: Authentick AMD 400 MHz Video: 3d Software Driver Ram: 512 MB and VRAM: 253 MB. I would say it is not a memory error. I have played the game on this system in the past with no problems (For 2 plus seasons in SILMAR league play) and I played with it for hours and hours just like the rest of you. I just got away from it for a while with job changes and all. At the top of the start screen it reads Sports Car GT v1.551M Setup. I am running Windows 2000 where this game ran for a (2) year span. This system does have dual monitors... does that have anything to do with it? Can anyone help? My yahoo Messenger is and I am online if anyone can help. I have this problem on this system that I need to diagnose and my boss has the same problem on his system that I have to fix. We are going to start a new league and we wanted to play a little first before setting up our league. PLEASE HELP. Thanks
