Funny? Well, since you asked, I was laughing at the riced out car, with cutouts in the hood for the intakes, 24" rims with a 3 foot tall wing on the back. Looks like a NFS in the making. But great your developing something. Editing is tough stuff, and gaming nonetheless. I write/edit/alter software too, but it doesn't involve PC racing.
Really sad a moderator would jump in and say something childish like that
Bring me an 03-04 Cobra and I'll show you how I edit 30-40rwhp out of the factory tune on my dyno with 4 to 5 dyno-pulls. I'll *literally show your ass I develop.......lol |

It looked like you were laughing at them like they are utter crap. Thats why you pissed me off coz I hate people who just criticize without any explanation and have no idea what it takes to do something like this.
If you want to get your point across clearly, maybe you need to type more then a word.
And I don't know what was childish? The word I didn't use is clearly a grown up word

in the movie I couldn't understand what the developer is trying to take attention?

From what I understood from the video its a reasonably accurate attempt at a mid 90's Holden Commodore VN, possibly a Statesman. It has been customised quite a bit from the real thing and its missing its rear doors but I've seen people do up these v8's to about that level.
Video was interesting. I know people would pay a lot of money to get their commodore to accelerate that quick. What was really interesting was the way simply changing the tyres and ride heights seemed to affect the physics in a plausible manner given the way it was behaving beforehand. |

The video was just meant to show the flexibility of the physics engine combined with the car editor. The physics for that car were tuned very poorly and it did not behave properly. Our team just wants to show what is actually involved in developing a racing sim from start to finish. Usually people just see "development" screen shots and videos when the game is 95% done. This game is about 10% done currently, so there are problems, debug text all over and it isn't polished at all. It is just a raw sim under heavy development. Normally this kind of thing happens behind closed doors, but if you head over to the ConceptRS forums @ https://www.ConceptRS.net you can see discussions about model formats, problems, solutions and everything else you normally wouldn't get to see.

Thanks Jon, it's excellent that developers take part of these forum discussions! It brings much more interest to the upcoming title.
