I played the demo for the PS2 and I was very impressed. Certainly the closest game compared with Richard Burns.

A little bit more slip and slide would be nice but the demo wasn't quite a finished article.

VERY nice..thats certainly true.

It was on the coverdisk of a UK magazine this month. I actually got it to see what Need for Speed Most Wanted was like BUT liked the Rally Game MUCH better.

I'm a PC nut to be honest because the graphics and gameplay are loads better than the PS2....just a shame that RAlly Evolved ain't coming to PC...least NFSMW will .

wrc aint a patch on richard burns rally. and need for speed most wanted demo on ps2 is diabolical, the worst need for speed yet. burnout games r far superior to that drivel. Shocked

I'm also impressed by the new physics/carhandling (with all driving aids off).
Burns Rally is still number one but WRC Evolved number two for sure.
But the Force Feedback could have been a bit better.

WRC4 + 5 are in a different league to CM3,4,5. Why won't anyone believe it! They have a great Sim engine/physics but were forced/encouraged to dumb it down for the main PS2 rally game (hence WRC 1,2,3) which had to be easy with a PS2 controller. Just try 4 or 5 with a FF wheel.

Rally Evolved ONLY good feature is the handling, the rest stinks....Like the big shortage of stages (only 3 in each country) Falling ROCKS??? Stages no longer than 3 minutes (and still the weather changes?) Bad FF forces, etcetera etcetera....... cheers H
