I just installed Rally Trophy on my WinXP system. All seems to work well, but when I click Configure Controls there seems to appear a window separate from the Rally Trophy program because the cursor in the game freezes and a normal WinXP cursor appears. However, I cannot see any window and Alt-Tabbing doesn't work. Hence, I'm stuck and the only way to get out of this is to shut off my computer.
Has anyone experienced something similar and know a way out of this? Thanks!
Configuration:
AMD XP3000+, 1024 MB, GeForce 5900, Audigy 2, MS Sidewinder FF wheel, WinXP Home, Dx9.0c |

Hi ....
if you didn't know there is one (and only) best place on the net for everything RT related
https://www.no-grip.net/
and don't miss the forum -it's a treasure to find something out

btw,my quick guess for your prob. would be-try changing your desktop/game colour to 16 bit ...

Great tip, it worked. But I only had to switch the game to 16 bit and I could leave the desltop on 32 bit colours. Thanks a bunch! |

I didn't invent the tip
I had that prob. too but since I reinstalled WinXP and put last ver. of DirectX that is gone
I hope you will turn game colour to 32 bit after controller mapping becouse game looks nicer that way
and last .... see that link from post above-there is a lot good stuff there for RT
