Hi everyone,
I have raced online with NR2003 by Papyrus the last few years. I race a USAC midget in real life, and we just recently started racing on dirt. I had so much fun, that it almost made NR2003 boring....I want to run on dirt now. I was hoping for a little info for someone just getting into the dirt games. Which one do you recomend. I have heard that DTR-SC is one of the best, even though Saturday Night Speedway is newer. I am looking for a game that has decent online play, I assume DTR-SC does since there are leagues for it. Also, what kind of mods are available? I read in one of these posts about a USAC Sprint mod. I also see that Saturday Night Speedway comes with Midgets, but if the graphics and online play suck (like I have heard) then it doesn't matter. Are there any websites with links to all the downloads available for these games? Like in NR2003 we have sites like "The US Pits" and "Sim Racing Connection". Anyway, just looking for some info. I appreciate any help. Thanks. |

Firstly! Now i dont mean to be a smarty here! But one only has to look at the links page here and one will find a few if not more useful links to some of the best dirt based sim sites around! Not to mention this site here itself Blackhole motorsports has some of the best files, guides, skins, cars etc around! Then you have one of my favourites and also one of the best *FUO* Motorsports https://www.fuo-motorsports.com/index.php There you will find just about everything including all the info you'll need, if you have not already found it here! Then there is always my own site https://www20.brinkster.com/dtcdskins/ for which i have a few files also' not to mention a great links page linking to some of the best dirt based sim sites around! I hope thats ok that i posted those links here Moderators? if i did wrong please accept my appoligies! Anyways that should get you started shifterkart37!
As far as which game to choose goes' Its like each to their own! Imho Dirt track racing sprintcars is the one and only if your into sprintcars, and in your case Usac midgets' (Nice that you race them Btw!) But some may disagree And say that Saturday night speedway is the bomb! Dont get me wrong because it is pretty good too, and the graphics are no doubt superior! But all in all i will say that Dtrsc will most likely have what you would be looking for! And yes it does have' and probably a few different of' "Usac sprints, midgets etc!
