CarX (project name) is a Realistic Racing Simulation project currently under development using the Newton Physics engine for rigid body dynamics, DirectX 9 for Graphics and Sound and our own game engine, dubbed EngineX.
The project team is currently looking for some good track and car models to use and are looking for some modders who are interested in joining this project. For more info about joining them go here.
