The other day i found this pack of textures, which i've been told are released under a GPL license so should be legal to use them (sometimes i wonder if anyone ever cares about legality of modding, like modelling an official WRC car without the necessary permissions?). I'm not a good modeller/texturer, but they seem to be of very good quality, some even have alpha transparency. Beware, it's a 200megs download. But for track modders i think it'll be worth it.
