Howdy Folks.
I know, Sports Car GT isn't the newest racing game on Earth, but in the past a lot of modders and painters did some great jobs to supply us with loads of great cars and tracks, so now I decided to come up with a "Best of".
So now I am working on it, the Mod will include more than 100 real cars, those cars will fill out the original 4 classes of the spcar.exe:
GT1: Le Mans Prototypes (Audi R8, Panoz, Courage...)
GT2: GTP / GT1 Cars (Toyota GT-One, Nissan R390...)
GT3: GTS (Corvette, Viper, Saleen...)
GTQ: GT (Porsche 996, Ferrari 360, BMW M3 GTR...)
In addition there will be a small program included to get rid of the cars that came with the original game.
So over the past week I set up the cars and ran the first test program at the Le Mans Circuit, some slight changes might be needed for some of the cars but the strength differences between the cars and classes are quite comparable to the real life motorsport.
I hope there are still some SCGT guys out there, the carset will be released in the near future when everything is set up fine, you can then grab it on a German site...maybe also here at Blackhole? *g*

All right, the tests are done, the cars are about ready.
Now what's left to do before I can release the whole thing:
- Check the sounds of each car (could be weird to have a GT3 Porsche sounding like a Judd powered prototype)
- Adjust the purchase costs for the cars so you can drive a regular career
- Write a README.TXT *g*
- Put the whole stuff into an archive.
After this is all done I will release the Carset. It now includes a total of 117 real race cars, the best of the best the SCGT world has ever experienced.
