I found that the patch added the dust reduction line in the serversettings file that my program could not account for.
I am updating my program for that.
Watch for it soon.
If my program had any issues before the patch, now would be a good time to give feedback about it. I hope I get some kind of feedback after my upcoming update.
I guess I find it sad that the guy who commented on my first release of the utility was the only one who took the time to say anything ( hi durango) .
Maybe I am a moron since after 200 + downloads I don't quite understand the lack of feedback. |

Hi NKA,
To tell you the truth, I have not yet had a chance to try it out. The past 2 weeks I have been toilling over an indepth tutorial on how to make Xpand Rally maps. As a result, I have not even played the game in two weeks. I've been living a life inside a Paint Program and a Word Processor. Once I get this baby out, I'll be sure to DL it and give it a try.
Please don't give up on us Xpand Fanatics as the game has lots of merits, just a lack of US distribution that seems to be slowly killing it. Hopefully my tutorial will give it some more life as it should simplify the map making process which should encourage more people to get involved in the game.
It kills me to see the lack of interest. Frustrating.... |

Thanks very much for replying, I'll look forward to your tutorial.
One person contacted me around the time of my tourney with the utility not working, truthfully I hadn't even used it since I installed the patch. Just that one person caused me to be able to investigate and find the problem.
A couple of people also contacted me personally about my utility since my post. Thats enough for me to continue to be honest. It doesn't take much really, I'm not after glory for making something, but I can't fix something under two conditions.
1. Is if under my personal or some testers use, it doesn't mess up.
2. Is if no one tells me it has a problem.
Anyway, thanks again for responding, gives me something to think that there is still people out there wanting to play this in an online environment. |
