This is a utility that allows car and track (including custom) and Java Mod selection prior to launching the game. It also will allow the host to launch directly to the in- game race room, and allow players to join hosts game directly from a chat room environment. Specifically, it enables the registry to cause the Microsoft gaming Zone to list Xpand Rally when entering the "Direct Play Lan Room" This does NOT allow for auto launching using the Zone rooms, but this does provide for a meeting place that allows players to separate into race rooms. then a copy and paste launch system is used for players to host and join with just those people in the race rooms.
Maybe people can start going to the Zone room friom time to time, so we can build a community.

I must admit, I had fun in the demo for this title, but as a serious sim, I just didn't see it (well, in all rights the game probably wasn't meant to be that).
All the other stuff aside - for the developers - you guys have done a fantastic job making this game accessible to the mod makers, something that I certainly didn't see coming. It's apparent that you folks have some skills.
Would you guys consider a hardcore racing simulation in the future? Something in the sports car arenas perhaps? Anything on asphalt where a multiplayer battle could be a fight for inches.
I dunno ... just an idea. I guess that most folks are not done having fun with Xpand yet |

I don't understand why this game gains so little community support. This game is really good. The physics are ok, the gfx is beautiful, you can manually switch the lights on and off. Guys from Techland do whatever they can to push this game as far to the community as it's possible. Included Chromed, the manual in pdf, mod-friendly game architecture and fine multiplayer mode but... look at such a humble amount of mods and other files in the BH XR game section. Why? Launch the game and try to find someone online. The servers are totally empty and there is nobody playing this game online! Why? |

OH yes, this game (engine) is beautifull, im afraid it may take many months before others around the world get this, mainly publishing issue. All i can say to you people is go check it out.
Not just the "Rally" bit, i mean look at it as an "Open engine" for you or anybody to make into "what yu like".

true, very true, I really enjoy playing the game, and if it didnt bog my system down so hard on some tracks, Id be more than happy to play it online.
