Hey, im pretty new to BH Motorsports, and I rcently downloaded the SCC mod for F1 Challenge, but I cant get it to work. Any help would be great.
In the readme it says, but I cant find setup.exe.
"There are three download options available.
Download Option 1: Roughly 400MB All-in-One package. (Windows installer)
How to install (Download Option 1)
---------------
1. Download Sports Car Challenge from www.rsdg.net
2. Extract the zip into a temp folder and run setup.exe
3. Browse to your F1 Challenge root folder and click Next > and Next >
4. After the installation is complete you can Close the installer window.
5. Now go to your F1 Challenge root folder and run SCC.exe."
Thanks. |

Hey, thanks guys, I got it working. Lots of fun.
I can only run with the graphics on the higher settings in a Test Day. If I have the graphics up in a race, it becomes way to laggy. Other than upgrading my computer, is there anyway to run a race with high graphics, but no lag?
Thanks. |

Hi promo, welcome and glad you got the mod working, it's very good.
Can't really say much on your problem with lag, since I have no idea what your PC is. I think some P4 2.6 with decent ATI card and 512-1024 RAM.
In any case, set the number of visible AI to a lower number - like 14-20, all depending on the turn out. And turning down Smoke and shadow effects noticably increases FPS - when you aren't taking screenshots for Picture of The Week, I don't think you really care if AI cars have shadows and if the Pitrcrews are fully animated.
Good luck.
