Q: How do you expect it to do against rivals such as Richard Burns Rally and RalliSport Challenge 2?

RT: Well, we expect to do better than them - we think we've got the better game - offering a proper rally experience while retaining accessibility of a great video game.

They could sell better than RBR,but speaking something like a proper rally experience is nonsence, they must be getting a mental problem to say this.

I actually like CMR 2005. Its a fun console type arcade game that has nice car models and a nice selection of stages with 2 lane wide roads. That being said, when RT mentioned that CMR 2005 offered a proper rally experience, I actually LOL'd in real life for several seconds straight. After playing RBR cmr shouldnt even be described as a rally experience at all.

Ha Ha, good joke! Pull the other one, The CMR series has gradually turned more and more into one of those money games, the name the marketing. See you just have to play the game once to realise that its quantity over quality, loadsa cars loadsa tracks and none of them matter because none of the cars act like cars (cause cars dont crab at 25mph on tarmac unless the wheels are off center or the chassis is bent). CMR2 was ok, then this odd style of handling came in, the graphics got better and the game went to pot. Ok uve gotta give the game respect for the original idea and keeping the rally gamers interested, but guys! Swallow your dented pride and dont say things like its a real rally experience, its a well marketed product, thats why it will sell. But as a rally sim. Quality, it aint, its not really a sim is it guys. And to say its the better game over RBR. Like i said, dented pride issue's. If there was a degree course in rally sims and it was between these two RBR would be going on to a masters now and CMR5 would be sent back to do a foundation.

Q:
Does CM05 use the same game physics as CM04?

RT:
Again, it's a case of building on what's gone before to make it work faster and more realistically - most people who've played CMR2005 have commented on the car being a bit looser and more adjustable on the throttle than before.

thats weak, dude... to make something 'more realistic' it must be realistic at all...

Quote:
Q:
Are there any new cars in CM05?

RT:
Loads - these can be seen in the cars section of the CMR2005 website - www.codemasters.co.uk/colinmcrae2005. In particular, we've got the Lancia Stratos, a firm fan favourite from CMR2 which is making it's debut on the new generation of consoles in a CMR game, we've got all-new cars from Ford (the Fiesta rally concept) Alfa (the 146) and Toyota (Celica GT-S and the classic ST185 GT-Four).

Yeah, everyone is going to drive Stratos! As if it differs somehow from other hovecrafts...Please, admit that you've thrown this crap into the game to be more proud of the numbers...

Quote:
Q:
Are there any new control/driving features?

RT:
Colin himself suggested one - the "Hard Steer" function. In most console racing games, because the player isn't using a steering wheel, control inputs get a bit filtered in order to maintain controllability. However, this can make it hard to fling your car at a tight apex, so we've implemented a button the essentially takes this filtering off to allow the player to make much harsher steering inputs than would otherwise have been possible.

Yeah, and this guy is talking about the realism....

Quote:
Q:
Are there any enhanced features (e.g. hit a tree and leaves fall off etc)?

RT:
Yes, that does happen. Also you can bend traffic signs, scrape the paintwork off your car and make yourself dazed with heavy collisions.

With this short reply dude mentioned everything new in cmr05

And pigs can fly...

Quote:
Q:
Finally are there plans now to do CM06?

RT:
Give us a break, we're only just finishing this one!

Oh come on, just develop 'nitro button', mirror or reverse stages, add some crappy new hovecrafts and you got brand new piece of art called cmr06

And this is my favourite:

Think it over...

What a LOAD. As they say the cream rises to the top and at CODEMASTERS the cream in there pants is spilling into their brains and is falling out of their mouths. There is no way IN THE WORLD CODEMASTERS WILL EVER CLEAN THE CRAP nor will they ever be able to undo the lies, the empty promises they have wasted on people over the years. Send this message to the bosses and shareholders at CODEMASTERS. I WILL NEVER BY ANYMORE OF YOUR CLAP TRAP EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I'd rather throw bolders at rocks on the planet MORON. I think I'll go out to the barn now and shoot a pig.

IN THE MUSIC WORDS OF PACO454 ..Another rides the bus HAY!, Another rides the bus. HAY!
