Codemasters informed us that a multiplayer demo for Colin McRae Rally 2005 will be released next week. The PC demo includes both multiplayer and single-player options and features the coveted Peugeot 206, Toyota Celica GT-FOUR and Lancia Stratos. Gamers can race solo or against up to 8 others through four stages in the UK and Sweden and experience newly featured Germany courses in 2 stages.

I didn't even DL the SP demo after the CMR4 disaster. I can't imagine the MP would be any better. Confused

Well good for You - bonehead. Why dont you use your time on something better than Critisising Colin McRae Rally? (You havent even been trying the 2005 according to yourself, so imaging away buster. If You dont like the game then stay away from it, but spare us your hostile comments. Try to post in some forums where You can be a little positive.

Arcade-lovers like me (isnt that what You and the likes of You call me and the likes of me) (and yes I actually like the NFSU - for the fun it supplies), have tremendous fun playing Colin McRae 04, and Im looking very forward to the 2005 edition. Thank You!

Well, I also like NFS:U, and I dont say that arcade lovers are idiots etc. But this is a sim racing site, and I guess we should discuss about sims here, rather than arcade. And when Codemasters advertise CMR as a sim, than don't feel offended, that people will complain about it.

The CMR4 dissaster? What the? CMR4 is THE best of the series other than CMR2 (IMO).

The CMR5 SP demo did have some seriously questionable handling problems I'll side with you on that, but hopefully this latest MP demo will show much improvement. If CMR5 does turn out to be a flop, then I am perfectly happy with CMR4 as the best Rally sim ever (that I've owned, not inc RBR until I play a demo).

The CMR3 final demo was VERY poor so I didn'y buy it. But with CMR4, Codemasters redeemed themselves in my eyes. It is an awesomely realistic game.
