Has anybody managed to get DTR: SC running on a Windows XP machine? It seems to fail on sound initialisation for me.
I tried the WoO demo which also would not run, which does not instill me with the confidence to buy it!
Any help would be great.
Thanks,

Okay, thanks guys.
I managed to get DTR:SC running but sadly it only recognises one joystick and as my ACT Labs Force RS and 3 pedal/Shifter setup works as two separate controllers I dunno if there is any way round this, I doubt it mind.
Sadly I can also not get the WOO demo to run, it starts and then reverts to an hourglass and task manager reports it as "not responding". I figured maybe WOO might support two controllers, if it doesn't there is not much point in me trying to make it work or buying the full product.
Still, any help would be greatly appreciated, I tried compatibility mode on WOO to no avail.
Thanks,

I'm in the same boat... Same bitchin' setup, and running into issues with the 'oldies, but goodies'. I just thought I'd refresh the topic, try to maybe get someone back thinkin on it. I haven't tried the compatibility bit yet, but I will now. As for the wheel/pedal setup, I just wish there was a way for games to recognize both controllers as one. Anyone with any ideas?
Any info would be much appreciated!
thanks! |

Can anyone help me with a loading issue using Windows XP. I had the DTRSC game loaded on the computer and wanted to change some settings. The only way I could do it was unload the game and reload it. Here is the problem. Now when I try to load it I get a message at the instal window saying: "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT . The system files is not suitable for running MS-DOS and MicroSoft Windows applications. Chose close to terminate the application." I could really use some help getting over this problem. |

I had the very same problem. It was previously installed with no problem,
but when I went to play it {after several months of no use} it locked up with
a black screen. So, I uninstalled, went to re-install and then I get the same message you got. If you found an answer or if anyone else knows whats wrong, I would very much appreciate an answer. Thanks |

I found out how to fix this problem. I typed in the exact error id into google and they told me exactly how to fix it. I think you have to redownload the auto.exe file to system32 in windows, but googel will tell you what to do. |

For anyone who is having problems with WOO not loading on XP, I have found it will only run with ONE controller device ONLY plugged into the USB ports.
